Delivery times (depending on the type of service)

• Airport to Airport is between 3-5 working days from the date of flight.
• Airport to Door is between 4-8 working days from the date of flight.

Cost

Our Online-Quote includes all UK related charges, for e.g: security screening, airline handling , NES, handling fees etc. However, costs which are incurred at the destination port (this is normal for any shipment) for e.g: Custom duty charges, VAT, import/clearance duty charges are NOT included in our quote. It is the responsibility of the customer to seek information from their homeoffice/ custom on these costs.

Document charge at destination

Document hand-over fee applies to most consol shipments. This fee will be charged to the consignee, unless otherwise instructed. For further information please enquire at time of booking.

Labeling your goods

Customers must, prior to handing their parcels over to our agent depots (collection points) ensure to address their parcels/cargo with the following details, clearly marked in big,bold letters:

• Airway bill number
• House air way bill number
• Port at destination (e.g.: name of airport)
• Total number of pieces shown on each package.(for e.g, if you are sending 5 parcels, you may name each as 1/5 , 2/5…..5/5)
• Air way bill,house air way number bill will be send to you by email after the booking is done.

Exceptions

Rates in this tariff exclude dangerous goods, ships spares in transit, valuable cargo, human remains, perishables, out of gauge shipments under license, mobile phones, CPU's (Central processing units) and livestock. Separate quotations available on request.

Maximum dimensions for our LHR X-Ray machine are: 149cm(w) x 158cm (h) - 2000kgs per piece.

If a consignment is "too dense to X-ray" and cannot be hand searched. the shipment may require De-compression or RASCO. The charges are as follows:
Min - £75.00
-1000KGS - £0.11/KG
+1000KGS - £010/KG

Proof of delivery

Proof of delivery from Airport-to-door is free of charge, but should you require a POD in hard copy, you will be charged £15.00 on the consolidation service and a minimum of £30.00 on the back-to-back (MAWB) service via carrier.

Special Cargo

Certain types of cargo require special attention, for e.g: sporting rifles, valuables, perishables etc. These items will attract an additional administration fee of £45.00 to cover the costs of arranging the specific measures required for transportation. A cancellation fee of £25.00 or 10% which ever is the greatest will be applied on all special cargo items, if the booking was confirmed and then cancelled (24 hour rule does not apply to special items).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be made 24hrs prior to collection. If cargo is already in our depots, there will be a charge for sending it back to you unless you undertake to collect from the depot.

Underpayment

If a shipments is underpaid i.e. the weight is greater than that which the customer entered in our system, your card will be billed for the outstanding balance and your shipment will not be released until the rest of the amount is received in full.

Prohibited Items

Please note that all items listed below "Prohibited" and will NOT be accepted for carriage by Air freight. This list includes items which are prohibited for carriage by any law, regulation or statute of any federal, state or local government of any country from, to or through which the shipment may be carried.

• All Animals
• Antiques, Art works and collectibles
• Banderols/Tax Stickers
• Bullion (or any precious metal)
• Cash like negotiable instruments in bearer form
• Firearms (Complete and Parts), Ammunition, Explosives, Weapons,
• Cash-like' negotiable instruments in bearer form (this would include but not be limited to cash, bank notes, currency, vouchers, securities, pre-paid phone cards, activated sim cards and unused stamps)
• Complete firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, explosives, weapons or items that could be used as weapons (these include but are not limited to decorative swords, kitchen knives etc)
• Human remains or ashes
• Illegal goods (these are goods which are considered illegal in the origin, the transit points and/or the destination countries and would include but not be limited to pirated goods, counterfeit goods and narcotics)
• Irreplaceable/unique items
• Ivory and other banned products
• Jewellery and objects constructed of precious metals and/or stones
• Loose precious stones (including Industrial Diamonds)
• Medical samples (includes bodily fluids and tissue samples)
• Negotiable instruments in bearer form (this includes but is not limited to blank cheques, blank activated credit cards / debit cards / charge cards or cash dispenser cards and event tickets
• Perishable items that require a temperature controlled environment
• Pornography
• Tobacco

• Drugs (legal) and pharmaceutical products over £100

How to reclaim sales tax (VAT) on UK purchases at Heathrow Airport, London (LHR)?

VAT refunds
Visitors from non-European Union countries can reclaim the sales tax (VAT) on purchases from a number of British retailers.
To claim, first purchase goods from any merchant displaying the Tax Free Shopping sign. You'll be given a tax refund form by the retailer – keep it along with your receipt.
Then when you get to the airport, take your receipt and form to the Travelex counter. Your tax refund will be paid in cash.
You can even have your refund paid in your own local currency – just ask when you get to the desk.
